Why we started
We spent years building AI and ERP systems for businesses and kept seeing the same thing: owners running on books that were months behind, bookkeepers retyping bank lines and bills by hand, and sales tax done in a spreadsheet the night before it was due.
So we built AxLedger, an accounting system designed around AI from the first line of code with Canadian sales tax at its core, and a bookkeeping service that runs on it. The routine is done before a person sits down, and every number can be traced to the rule, the history, the AI suggestion or the person behind it.
